Riverwind Equestrian Center has prided itself on producing top quality welsh ponies for many years now. Our goal is simply to produce outstanding ponies. We have focused almost exclusively upon breeding hunter and jumper ponies, and we have been very successful. Riverwind has produced some of the most successful and influential hunter ponies in North America.

In order to ensure a high standard in our foals, our ponies pedigrees carry the bloodlines of the most influential and successful welsh sires and dams. Our breeding ponies are selected and bred based upon the criteria of excellence in conformation, movement and disposition.

Riverwind is a family owned and operated equestrian facility located in the scenic Pembina river valley, just forty five minutes north west of Edmonton. We pride ourselves on our standards of excellence, honesty and credibility and strive to uphold these standards in every endeavor we undertake.

At Riverwind the progress of our ponies is important to us; as such we like to keep touch of the various ponies who have left our ranch to pursue careers elsewhere.

It is our pleasure that the enormous success of our ponies, Jump'n Jack Flash and GlaNnant Jackpot, are soley responsible for the ascension of our old herd sire, Alvesta Picasso, to leading sire on the USEF list.
